These melts work wonderfully on my grumpy old man before his grooming appointments or if I need to be away from home for more than 4 hours. They have a quick starting action since it dissolves on his tongue and are small enough so I can carry in my purse for emergencies like thunderstorms. Really glad I’ve found this product.
I started out giving these to my Lab with car anxiety - he just gets SO terribly hyper it makes transporting him a bit of a danger. We could give him one or even half of one (if going to the dog park) which allowed him to be calm but he was still awake and alert enough to have a great time. They never made him act different or even sleepy.
Now I've started giving these to my 85 lb doberman when he hears thunder. He would always sit on me and was hyper alert and shaking... giving him one of these calms him and he lays down and drifts off to sleep.
